Wherever we go today, there are always health and nutrition facts and concerns about how the population in the United States is decreasing in fitness level and increasing in waist size and frequency of injuries. When we take into consideration that 67% of our youth population is overweight (33% considered clinically obese), and couple that with the amount of injuries that have occurred during simple daily activity and recreation, it is alarming and begs the question: what can we do about it? Total Focus Health and Fitness embraces this question and the subsequent issues. Our company mission is to get our clients to focus on themselves and making a permanent change in their lifestyles. Whether these changes come in the shape of improving your speed for football, your swing for baseball, the way you feel when you wake up in the morning, or ensuring your son or daughter gets the appropriate amount of physical activity, Total Focus Health and Fitness is there to help. We are not a gym, we focus on sports and recreational activities as a way to increase performance and enhancement and improve quality of life for children and adults.

With the dramatic increase in childhood obesity and Type II Diabetes, a call for youth fitness and physical activity has been recently gaining power across the country.  The only problem is that state funding and government decision makers have decreased the requirements for physical education programs in our school systems.
